Migrating from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Using Dynamics 365 Business Central for Manufacturing Industry

A manufacturing company specializing in automobile parts, faced operational challenges due to misaligned and outdated modules in their existing MS Dynamics NAV 2009 system. They sought to streamline their processes and migrated to D365 Business Central, focusing on financial management, sales, purchase, advanced warehousing, inventory, and production modules. The project included creating a Functional Requirement Document (FRD) and optimizing processes by removing unnecessary customizations. A prototype was developed for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure minimal deviations from the project plan. The implementation reduced manual efforts by 50%, streamlined tax-related reports, and successfully implemented a functional production process from scratch, providing a comprehensive view of inventory status across all locations.
